Job Description

Dining Services is seeking enthusiastic and creative students to join our team as Student Marketing Interns! This position is perfect for students passionate about social media, marketing, and campus engagement. You will play a key role in promoting dining services through digital and in-person outreach while gaining valuable marketing experience.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate or salary range for this position is $17.00 to $17.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

•  Social Media Management – Create and post engaging content for our Instagram and TikTok accounts, including photos, videos, and stories. 
•  Graphic Design – Develop eye-catching flyers, brochures, digital graphics, and promotional materials to support dining initiatives. 
•  Tabling & Outreach – Represent the dining program at campus events, distribute promotional materials, and interact with students to increase awareness of dining options. Executing fun pop up tables to increase engagement and meal plan sales. 
•  Surveying & Feedback Collection – Gather student input on dining experiences and relay valuable insights to improve our program. 
•  Communication – Be a knowledgeable resource for students about meal plans, dining locations, and special promotions. 
•  Collaboration – Work closely with dining management and Chefs to develop and execute marketing strategies, and implement students feedback.

Qualifications

•  Currently enrolled at the University of Albany.
•  Passion for social media, marketing, and engaging with peers.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Creativity and basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar preferred).
•  Experience with Instagram and TikTok (content creation experience is a plus!).
