Job Description

As the CBORD Coordinator you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of the CBORD Diet Office and Nutrition Services Suite.  This role will work with locations across the Phoebe Putney Health System to implement CBORD and improve patient satisfaction per the terms of the contract.  Coordinates Diet Office functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in management of 2 CBORD databases to support operations at 4 Phoebe hospitals.
  • Supervises the daily operations of the CBORD Diet Office system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient menus that are compliant with dietary restrictions.
  • Format and enter patient menus into CBORD system.
  • Coordinate CBORD system build, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with CBORD representatives to secure appropriate updates and maintain viable system. Coordinates installation of upgrades, down times, etc. of system.
  • Collaborate with clinical and hospital information system departments to improve operational workflows and implement information system solutions.
  • Assist with design, testing, and maintenance of the interface between CBORD clinical nutrition system and Meditech electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate end-user training programs for workflow modifications and system upgrades.
  • Creates and/or modifies existing CBORD Diet Office system to meet the needs of the department and the patients served. Grant CBORD access to new employees
  • Serve as a department liaison between Aramark and Phoebe IT departments and address pertinent issues with other team members.
  • Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers. Is responsive to customer needs.
  • Key skills include critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • MUST have excellent communication skills - writing and verbal.
  • Adheres to established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal regulations.
  • Maintains compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation. Adheres to Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance, with all local, stated and federal regulations and codes.
  • Maintains compliance with all requirements of Federal, State and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended.
  • Performs all other related duties.

 

Qualifications

  • Two years prior CBORD management experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret procedural documents and write routine reports and correspondence using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills. Ability to learn new processes and procedures including computer programs and restrictions of modified diets.
