Aramark Healthcare+ is seeing a Patient Services Director to join their team at Akron General Hospital in Akron, OH.  The Patient Services Director will support food service operations, be responsible for developing and executing strategy to meet operating and financial goals.  

Job Responsibilities

Patient Services Director to oversee the patient services operations and patient experience.  Additional responsibilities include;

  • Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply, and cost control within budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers.  Is responsive to customer needs.
  • Plans, directs, coordinates and controls resources of the food service department to provide food service for customers, employees and patients.
  • Complies with ARAMARK and client reporting requirements.
  • Maintains effective relationship with client. 
  • Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation.  Adheres to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. 
  • Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. 
  • Establishes systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment.  
  • Meets with food production and other personnel to plan menus and related activities such as dining room, bar and banquet operations.  
  • Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires 3-5 years experience and 1-3 years in a management role.
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred
