Job Description
Empower Field is the home of the Denver Broncos and a wide variety of concerts and specialty events! Our Culinary cooks are responsible for preparing items in our premium and specialty areas. This is the position for you if you enjoy high volume & fast paced operations, preparing food for premium clientele, and working in food and beverage for some of the best events Denver has to offer!
This position is considered an Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee
Compensation Data
The hourly rate of pay for this position ranges from $22.75 to $23.75. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Position Type
Scheduling for this position will be managed through a flex workforce app, ReadyOn, in which shifts will be made available for you to select. There is no minimum guaranteed hours per week and hours will not exceed 25hrs/wk average annually.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedules and assigns daily work activities to staff and supervises the completion of tasks.
- Trains and guides staff on job duties, standard food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, etc.
- Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment – communicates quickly when a need arises to ensure productivity continues
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items (as needed)
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, grills, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
- Ensures compliance with food temps and documentation throughout event
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils – as per guidelines and policies
- Ensures clear and concise communication with stand leads, stand workers and cashiers
- Maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- Ensures security of company assets
- Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership

This role reports directly to the culinary team
Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred
- Experience as a cook or related role required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision required
- Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Food safety certification required
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role requires uniforms and the usage of PPE including but not limited to, burn sleeves and apron and gloves.
