Job Description

The Energy Services Team at Aramark is looking to recruit an Energy Consultant to make a significant contribution to our existing and expanding portfolio of energy projects and clients.

As the leading Energy Services Company in Ireland, this is an exciting opportunity for potential candidates to be part of a large team of highly experienced and motivated energy professionals who will create an environment in which the candidate will learn and develop their energy management capabilities through delivering services to public and private clients across various sectors.
 

Job Responsibilities

The roles key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

•    Supporting clients with implementation of energy objectives and targets
•    Undertaking Energy Monitoring and Targeting
•    Provision of regular energy reporting and desktop analyses
•    Delivery of energy awareness events, campaigns and presentations
•    Undertaking energy surveys of buildings
•    Identifying energy-saving projects and measures
•    Delivering best practice solutions to clients in a range of energy related services

Qualifications

Essential criteria 

•    Motivated and have an enthusiasm for energy management 
•    Capable of working alone and achieving targets for delivery of services
•    Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
•    A knowledge of building services including the ability to interpret and understand
•    Knowledge of current best practice and sustainable technologies
•    BEng / BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering, energy or related discipline
•    Excellent computer skills in particular Microsoft Office and Outlook
•    Must be willing to travel and hold a Full Irish Driving Licence

Desirable criteria

•    A recognised qualification in Energy Management e.g. certified Energy Manager
•    1-2 years previous experience of energy advice, management or energy services sector
•    Experience and knowledge in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS)
•    Experience and knowledge in energy efficiency and management, ideally within an office environment, industrial or commercial buildings
•    Experience of providing domestic energy advice
•    Experience in the area of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Building Energy Management Systems, Lighting and Renewables
•    Experience and knowledge in delivering behavioural change campaigns
•    Knowledge of local and international energy issues

This position will require travel around Ireland from time to time to enable candidates to provide the above project services to Aramark clients in that region.
We have several openings in the leinster region. However we are happy to hear from candidates based in other provinces where we may have positions form time to time.
