We are recruiting for a Training and Recruitment Coordinator as maternity cover to support the Food & Beverage department with providing fun and engaging rotational on-the-job training as well as supporting with recruitment related duties. This role will aim to achieve operational excellence by driving consistency across the department and requires someone with the ability to engage, deliver and succeed!
What's in it for you?
You will be working up to 40 hours per week on an initial five month contract with a competitive hourly rate of £12.70. Your regular schedule will be Monday to Friday, however, there will be a need for some evenings and weekends to support with our inductions and events.

What does this role entail?
A day in the life of a Training and Recruitment Coordinator would include...
- Ensuring the implementation of front-line employees' awareness of their role and responsibilities by communicating key operating standards in Food Safety and Health & Safety.
- Upskilling our team by supporting with a training programme in operational excellence within both classroom and on-the-job environments.
- Communicating with the management team to discover training needs and key areas of improvement across the department.
- Completing administrative work including logging training completions, reviewing job applications and updating training documentation.
- Assisting with delivering departmental inductions for new starters, allowing a smooth introduction into the business.
- Facilitating front-line interviews during recruitment events.
- Attending internal and external recruitment events, building up a strong network within the local area.
- Undertake other ad hoc administration assignments as required
What is required for this role?
- Leadership qualities and the ability to engage with a group of trainees.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
- A keen interest in the development of others, devoting time to their skills and helping them achieve operational excellence within their role against requirements.
- The ability to establish and prioritise goals, demonstrating a sense of urgency where required.
- Prior knowledge of Food and Beverage, Hospitality or Theme Park sectors and an understanding of the operational skills desired by the department.
- Skilled in administration and proficient with Microsoft packages.
- A positive can-do attitude along with being approachable and showing willingness to support the department from a supporting function.
- Prior Training or Recruitment experience is desirable
