LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is recruiting for Kitchen Assistants to join our Hotel Kitchen Team in food preparation and service-related duties.

 

Are you currently working in hospitality but looking for a little more fun in your role? Do you like the idea of working in a theme park environment? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience preparing a wide range of cuisines, from our world-inspired family buffet to our fine dining à la carte restaurant and everything in between. Working alongside our talented chefs, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards for all our hotel guests.

 

This is a seasonal role available until November 2026 with the possibility of extension and further training for the right candidates.

 

Shift opportunities include:

 

Full Time, fully flexible  - 5 days out of 7 on a shift basis

Part-time

Mornings only

Evenings only

 

Due to the nature of our operation, some weekend availability is essential

 

Pay starting at £12.71 per hour and rising with experience.

What does this role entail?

 

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant would include...

 

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of food following recipes and guidelines
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Completing kitchen preparations before the shift begins, ensuring all areas are ready to support a busy operation
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, restocking and supporting with deliveries as required
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation during busy periods
  • Washing and cleaning crockery and equipment to ensure high standards are met

  • We would love to hear from candidates with kitchen experience. However, we will also provide suitable candidates who have a passion for food with all the training they require
  • Excellent communication with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring fantastic food presentation
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
