Spanning over two hotels and our very own holiday village, a day in our operation is never dull.

 

Shift opportunities include:

 

Full Time (5 out of 7)

 

Breakfast Shifts (6am until 2pm)

 

Evening Shifts (2pm until 10pm)

 

Due to the nature of our operation, weekend availability is essential

What does this role entail?

 

A day in the life of a Commis Chef would include...

  • Preparing and cooking food for our hotel guests
  • Having full knowledge of items served
  • Work collaboratively with the other chefs regarding the maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards
  • Maintaining high Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards
  • Working with the other chefs to make sure all shift opening and closing checklists are completed
  • Learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks and undertake relevant kitchen training as required

 

What is required for this role?

 

  • Excellent awareness of food hygiene standards
  • Driven to learn and develop as a chef
  • Basic kitchen experience and culinary skills 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Team player
  • High energy and a positive can-do attitude
