LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has an exciting new vacancy for a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to work within the newly opened Clubhouse Restaurant in the brand-new Woodland Village in the Hotel Food & Beverage Department.

The Assistant Manager will co-lead the Clubhouse Restaurant with a focus on guest service, KPI's and improving the guest experience. You will be required to ensure the delivery of the day-to-day operation by supporting and implementing initiatives and quality standards. This role requires a candidate who demonstrates a positive mental attitude, is highly motivated, empowering and has determination to succeed. As an Assistant Manager you will need to think outside the box, make quick decisions and have the natural ability to bring out the best in the team.

This is a full time 5 out of 7 role offering a salary of £28,000

 

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager would include...

 

  • Assist with the organisation and running of the food and beverage service across your units, driving efficiency and production.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure smooth operation and production
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of your unit, including operations, paperwork, menu, allergens, and processes
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and KPI targets are exceeded
  • Manage and respond to escalated guest complaints
  • Assist with the purchase and control of inventory, as required
  • Complete stock counts (must be on-site during stock counts, unless on annual leave)
  • Drive sales and control expenses
  • Ensure practice and adherence to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensure audits and all requested paperwork is diligently completed on time
  • Support with any Food Safety or Health & Safety investigations for your units
  • Assist with the recruitment, training and coaching of staff
  • Ensure adherence to schedules and labour budgets

 

Here are some desirable qualities for this role...

 

  • Proven customer service skills and a passion to exceed standards and targets
  • Experience within the Food and Beverage industry and relevant Food Safety Certification
  • Previous work as a Supervisor / Team Leader
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work through own initiative
  • A positive can-do attitude with a hands-on approach at work to support and lead the team
  • Be a great communicator and someone who is reliable in all aspects of the role
  • Demonstrate the ability to take on challenges as and when they arise, reacting positively and responding immediately with solutions
  • A strong desire to develop others through effective training and coaching 
  • Previous knowledge of Risk Assessments and Health & Safety protocol
