AFC Wimbledon are recruiting Casual Kitchen Porters to join our team for Matchdays and Events!

The roar of the crowd, the thrill of events, and the taste of victory awaits you. AFC Wimbledon, continues its incredible journey at the new Plough Lane, and we need enthusiastic individuals to help us create unforgettable experiences for fans and eventgoers alike.

Are you currently working in hospitality but looking for a little more fun in your role? Do you like the idea of working in a stadium environment? If so, we have a great opportunity to work within our kitchen operations alongside our amaziing team of chefs and cooks.

In this casual role, you'll help to ensure that the facilities in our kitchens are maintained to the highest standards. We need you to help keep the strictest levels of cleanliness in the food preparation areas by working closely with our busy team of chefs. This is a great starting point for a career within catering and hospitality, and you will benefit from training and guidance from talented chefs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation, including cutting, peeling, and washing food items
• Keeping the kitchen clean and ensuring a safe working environment
• Preparing the kitchen area prior to service
• Assisting with deliveries and maintaining stock organisation
• Collaborating as part of a team to ensure smooth operations
• Washing and cleaning dishes

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Kitchen Porter experience is advantageous. However, we will provide all necessary training to the right candidate
• Flexibility in availability is preferred to accommodate matchdays and events
• A willingness to learn and grow in the role
• A positive can-do attitude
• Enjoyment of working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from candidates who are over 18
