⦁ Hourly rate of £12.50 per hour – Yearly salary term time only £20,479
⦁ Full time – 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday. Term time only

What you'll be doing
⦁ Work well as part of a team of chefs, supporting one another and communicating well
⦁ Supervising and leading your team to success, leading by example.
⦁ Preparing and cooking dishes ready for lunch service
⦁ Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
⦁ Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
⦁ Assisting with deliveries and stock checks / placing orders
⦁ Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
⦁ To share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for the checking, probing and signing of all food deliveries
⦁ To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
⦁ Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
⦁ Full knowledge of all menu items served
⦁ Undertake relevant training as required
Experience
⦁ Previous experience as a cook / chef of at least 2 years
⦁ Allergen awareness
⦁ DBS check required
⦁ Excellent team player and communicator
⦁ Confident enough to lead a team
⦁ Flexibility and the ability to innovate
