Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef Manager to lead the culinary team at one of our education sites in Ealing, West London.

 

This is a permanent, term-time position (plus 4 weeks) – 43 weeks in total. The Chef Manager will be working Mon-Fri, 7am-3.30pm (40 hours / week) to allow for breakfast and lunch preparation and service.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:

  • Hot and cold food production for both breakfast and lunchtime
  • You will be organising and coordinating hospitality – alongside leading the team to ensure tasks are appropriately allocated and food preparation activities are delivered
  • Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products
  • Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Recent Chef Manager experience, preferably within the education sector
  • A passion for producing good food
  • A willingness to engage with the students to enhance their experience within the catering areas
  • People management experience
  • Good client communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
