Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Technical Facilities Maintenance Technician for the South of Ireland region (Covering Dungarvan, Carrick-on-Suir, Waterford & Wexford) to provide a service to the Company’s clients in respect of maintenance / service / repairs and installation of a variety of building services. This is a permanent position that reports directly into the Regional FM Manager South. We are looking for a trade electrician with multi-skilled attributes (training can also be offered to the correct candidate)
Job Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- To undertake such maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by Aramark / client specification.
- To comply with the Company’s procedures when working on a client’s premises.
- To observe and comply with all working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate health &safety statutory requirements at all times.
- To maintain all Company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable and safe manner.
- Ensure all Company paperwork is completed accurately and legibly at all times.
- Participate in the Company’s out of hour’s emergency call out rota as required.
- Maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
- To locate & purchase items of equipment to facilitate the speedy & effective service to our clients.
- Communicate current status of works to our Helpdesk after completion of visit.
- Ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties are up to date.
- Support the helpdesk in their role by effective communication and promote efficiency.
- Attend review meetings where necessary.
- Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner and in line with company procedures.
Qualifications
Key Requirements for the Multi-skilled Technical Maintenance Technician Job:
- Must be qualified to Electrical trade with up-skilling on Mech/AC Systems or Air Conditioning or Senior Mechanical with good working Electrical Knowledge. (Not a pre-requisite but desirable).
- Specialist qualification in Refrigeration systems would be advisable but not a pre-requisite.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience on installation, commissioning, servicing and maintaining HVAC and other mechanical systems ie. Pumps, Pressurisation Units etc.
- Electrical trade background with strong evidence of muti-skilled FM maintenance delivery.
- Experience in BMS and control systems an advantage.
- Use of Microsoft Office Packages, in particular Excel competency, is essential.
- Flexibility - This is a mobile role servicing our regional client base however occasional support to our nationwide clients may be required and may include overnight stays.
- Clean Driving Licence is required.
