Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dynamic catering team in Waterford, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy catering environment, supporting the delivery of outstanding food and customer service whilst developing your skills as part of a friendly and collaborative team. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness. - Assist with food preparation and service delivery in a fast-paced catering environment - Perform washing up, cleaning, and general housekeeping duties to maintain a hygienic workspace

• Follow all food hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times - Support colleagues to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery - Provide excellent customer service to all customers with a positive and empathetic approach - Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the catering facility
• Respond flexibly to changing priorities and support team members as required - Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive working environment - Assist with stock management and basic inventory tasks as directed - Demonstrate attention to detail in all assigned duties

Qualifications

**What We Are Seeking:** - A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and customer service - Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers - Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Reliable and flexible approach to work, with good time management

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and food hygiene - Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods - Attention to detail and organisational skills - Willingness to follow instructions and procedures consistently - Desirable experience in catering or food service (however, full induction and training will be provided)

**Additional Requirements:** - Enhanced DBS check required - Legal right to work in Ireland - Willingness to undergo food hygiene training as part of your induction
