Aramark UK is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at the iconic Warwick Castle Hotel. 

 

If you're passionate about delivering high-quality food, developing teams, and creating memorable guest experiences in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

 

Youll oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, supporting the hotel's food and beverage offering. With service ranging from 30 to 300 covers depending on the season, you'll manage a young and dynamic team, ensuring consistently high standards in food quality, safety, and presentation, while contributing to menu execution and continuous improvement

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality buffet food and maintain presentation and service flow
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety legislation
  • Lead a strong food safety culture and manage audits, documentation, and daily controls
  • Manage stock leavels, rotation, and portion control to minimise waste
  • Support cost control through planning and asherence to procurement processes
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a predominantly young kitchen team
  • Manage rotas, labour planning, and team performance
  • Execute centrally produced menus to brand standards
  • Contribute ideas for buffet presentation, menu trials, and seasonal improvements

 

Skills & Experience Required

 

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Senior Kitchen Leader in a high-volume buffet or similar operation
  • Strong track record of leading and developing young or entry-level kitchen teams
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
  • Experience operating within centrally managed menus and procurement frameworks
  • Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills
  • Ability to remain calm, structured, and quality-focused during peak trading periods

 

Desirable

  • Experience within hotels, resorts, attractions, or large-scale leisure environments
  • Formal culinary qualifications and food safety certification
  • Experience contributing to menu development or refinement within a branded operation

Pay and Benefits

 

You will be working full time on 40 hour a week contract, earning a yearly salary of £30,000. We don't do split shifts here and finishing time is no later than 11pm. You'll be joining a great team, with faboulous career prospects - we LOVE to promote from within.
