Aramark UK is looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at the iconic Warwick Castle. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-volume, events-led kitchen operation within one of the UK's most historic and unique venues.

 

Warwick Castle hosts a diverse range of large-scale events, including weddings, banquets, conferences, and seasonal experiences. Our team delivers high-quality food across multiple outlets, combining efficiency, consistency, and creativity in a fast-paced environment.

 

What you'll be doing

 

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering food for the Castle's busy events and production kitchen:

 

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality food within the Central Production Unit (CPU) for events, including banquets, weddings, conferences, and large seasonal events
  • Leading your section during service, ensuring consistency, pace, and presentation standards are maintained
  • Preparing high-volume dishes with accuracy, ensuring correct portioning, labelling, and storage
  • Conducting quality checks prior to food dispatch or service
  • Working in full compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen, and HACCP procedures
  • Supporting stock control, ordering, rotation, and waste reduction
  • Mentoring new team members while maintaining the highest standards
  • Keeping up to date with all menu items, allergen information, and completing daily kitchen checks

You'll be set up for success if you have:

 

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in high-volume catering
  • Previous experience working in events catering such as banqueting, weddings, conferences, or live events
  • Experience within a Central Production Unit (CPU) or bulk production kitchen supplying multiple events is preferred
  • Strong technical cooking skills with the ability to follow specifications, maintain food quality, safety, and allergen standards
  • Experience supporting stock control, cost management, and waste reduction
  • Ability to lead, coach, and support junior kitchen team members while maintaining organisation, time management, and clear communication
  • Calm, professional approach under pressure, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak event periods
