Warwick Castle boasts an impressive line up of shows including the UK's largest birds of prey show - The Falconers Quest, home to Europe's largest working siege machine, the Trebuchet, and several other spectacular events and attractions throughout the year. We offer different types of hotel accommodation to our guests, including glamping tents and woodland lodges in our Knights Village, and our newly opened Warwick Castle Hotel. It's an office like no other!
Your role
We are recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who will look after our hotel dining operations. This role is being recruited on a full time, permanent basis. We have a 100-cover restaurant, The Knight's Table, and our newly opened 40-cover bar area, The Knight's Tavern, operating two services a day. Our complimentary breakfast (which in peak season will be serving over 500 guests!) and our hearty dinner carvery is an optional offer for all our accommodation guests. In our peak periods we have outdoor food and beverage units including a bar and street food.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and managing the team. We really mean it when we say no two days are the same. We have a huge variety of guests who come to stay with us - from all age ranges and from all corners of the globe. This is a varied role and will require hands on service experience, as well as administration computer skills.
We are looking for team players who want a fun and engaging role. We are passionate about delivering great food, in-keeping with the heritage of our superb surroundings.

The ingredients for success:
Essential:
- Team player - balancing act between looking after the FOH breakfast, dinner and chef teams
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude
- Highly organised
- Problem solving
- Mentor our newer team members, showing them your amazing customer service skills
- Previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage role
- Proficient in using IT systems including Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams
- Great communication - verbal, written and online
- Allergy training and a minimum of level 2 food hygiene.
Desirable:
- Bar supervisor experience
- Inventory management
- Knowledge of back of house systems. eg Micros, Kronos payroll, and Fourth ordering.
