Aramark UK has a fantastic opportunity for a Student Engagement Co-Ordinator to join our team to lead student engagement at Uppingham School. This newly-created position is to ensure students have great interactions with our catering services at Uppingham. We are looking for a marketing / comms expert with a background in food service to plan activities and value-add experiences.
This is a permanent position (52 weeks / year) and will be a 40-hour week, 5 days out of 7.

A day in the life of a Student Engagement Co-Ordinator:
- Creation of a bespoke, structured termly marketing plan to support activities
- Lead and manage multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns throughout the year increasing the awareness and engagement of the services to create a vibrant campus
- Oversee and co-ordinate focus groups / feedback with stakeholders from client and customer base, collating feedback on a regular basis to continually measure and drive satisfaction
- Network and create new working relationships with school stakeholders
- Management of promotional calendar, liaising with internal stakeholders and the central team to produce POS and supporting documentation
- Responsibility for in house customer experience and satisfaction measurement tool, launching across all catering outlets
- Generate monthly reports to share and report back to the Director of Catering
- Development and co-ordination of internal marketing campaigns
- Act as an ambassador and guardian for the Aramark brand
- Manage the promotional scheduling of digital screens
- Host a regular series of engagement events from interruption tables to pop ups
- Support the management team in delivering their sustainable commitments to the school and Aramark
- Collate data on sustainable initiatives and feedback
- Implement sustainable solutions and give recommendations to the central Aramark team using on-site knowledge
- Engage with students on the sustainable initiatives implemented with pop ups and workshops
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- A degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar field
- A proven background in marketing and its application in a food service environment
- A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work under own initiative and effectively articulate decisions and present to an audience
- Knowledge of social media channels and their operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude
- Can multitask & work to tight deadlines
- Excellent IT Skills
