In this exciting role, you’ll be helping shape the food and beverage experience across some of the UK’s most iconic attractions, including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND Windsor, and Warwick Castle.

 

As our Merlin Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of driving exciting new concepts, working with dynamic teams, and sprinkling some marketing magic across the board. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Marketing Standards
    You’ll ensure that marketing across all sites is consistent, on-brand, and best-in-class. From campaigns to activations, you’ll champion high standards and help bring the Aramark and Merlin experience to life.
  • Sales Growth
    Help us grow food and beverage sales by developing campaigns and initiatives that excite guests and encourage repeat visits. You’ll collaborate closely with our sales teams and site teams to deliver impactful marketing activity.
  • Supplier Management
    Work with a matrix of suppliers, designers, and creative partners to deliver standout marketing materials and activations across multiple sites.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Sales Teams
    You’ll liaise closely with operations and sales teams to ensure marketing strategies translate seamlessly into the on-site experience.
  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences
    From grab-and-go treats to destination dining, you’ll help shape memorable food and beverage experiences that delight guests throughout their day.
  • Digital Signage & Self-Order Kiosks
    Own and manage digital signage and self-order kiosk activity, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and designed to drive both guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • New Activations & Mobilisations
    Be the driving force behind new site activations, seasonal campaigns, and mobilisations, helping bring new ideas and concepts to life.
  • Innovation & Concept Development
    Working alongside operations and culinary teams, you’ll support the launch of new concepts, menus, and experiences, while ensuring operational and brand standards remain high.
  • Multi-Channel Communications
    Work with Merlin partners to improve communications across corporate and guest-facing channels, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned.
  • A Diverse Portfolio
    Your work will span hotels, QSR concepts, events, conferencing, and pop-up festival-style activations, meaning no two days are ever the same.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A passion for marketing and proven experience delivering campaigns that drive growth and engagement
  • Experience managing suppliers, agencies, designers, and creative partners
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A creative mindset with the ability to turn great ideas into real-world activations
  • Experience managing digital signage or self-order technology (a bonus but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to connect corporate strategy with guest-facing marketing
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a dynamic approach — someone who brings positivity and makes things happen
  • A marketing background, ideally with a BA (Hons) or CIM qualification
