Contract Type: Maternity Cover – Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week
Working Weeks: 38 weeks + 4.569 paid holiday weeks (total 42.569 weeks)
Salary: £12.21 per hour (£12,994.19 annually)

A Day in the Life of a Catering Assistant:
- Serve food and beverages to customers following portioning and presentation standards
- Prepare cold food and made-to-order items including hot sandwiches
- Take payments and maintain financial records
- Restock and display merchandise
- Clean kitchen areas, crockery, cutlery, and public spaces
- Report feedback, complaints, or hazards to the Catering Manager
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
- Complete daily paperwork and maintain diligent records
- Undertake relevant training as required
You’ll Be Set Up for Success If You Have:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- No prior experience required – full training provided
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable, but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
