Aramark are recruiting for a Mess Steward to join their team at Dishforth Airfield, Thirsk, YO7 3EZ

⦁    Full time – 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Mainly Monday – Friday but some weekends may be required for events/weekend functions

A day in the life of a Steward:
⦁    Service of food and/or beverages to customers
⦁    Counter service and upselling
⦁    General housekeeping around site
⦁    Table service and providing excellent customer service to the client
⦁    Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method
⦁    Cleaning dining rooms and serving areas
⦁    Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of your shift.
⦁    Kitchen cleaning including pot wash and dishwashing
⦁    The job description may be altered from time to time to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company

Experience
⦁    A DBS check will be required to complete the application process
⦁    Food hygiene certificate desirable 
⦁    Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
