We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to be a part of our team at Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Thirsk YO7 3EY

• £11.44 per hour
• Part time, 30 hours a week – temporary with the view to make permanent if the position develops
• Shifts: Weekdays: 7.30am – 7pm, Weekends: 9.30am – 2.30pm

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the day to day operations of a Premier Shop and Take Out Costa
• Restock and replenish all merchandise 
• Clean and tidy the Front and Back of House areas as per cleaning schedules
• Keep due diligence records accurate and up to date
• Cash handling and cashing up procedures
• Light cooking (paninis, toasties etc.) Make and serve hot beverages
• Help complete monthly stock takes
• Report any breakages, out of date stock etc.
   

Experience

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided!
• Must be a great team player
• Must be able to work in all areas of the business (including kitchen and bar duties)
• Transport required (remote area with limited transport)
• DBS check required
