We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at WO & Sgts Mess, Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Thirsk, YO7 3EY

What you'll be doing
- Serving customers,, clearing and resetting tables, washing up as appropriate.
- Operating a bar service and handling cash (Must be 18+ years)
- Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, back of house areas, crockery and cutlery
- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation and public areas
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
Experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 (desirable although relevant training will be provided)
- Experience in a similar role desirable but not necessary
- Basic numeracy skills
- Shift patterns may vary to fit the business
- Must be able to work in all areas of the business if required (including kitchen and bar duties)
- Transport required (remote area with limited public transport)
- Reasonable overtime to help with Functions
- DBS check required
