We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk, YO7 3EY

• Part time – 1 x 20 hours and 1 x 30 hours per week
• Shifts range from Monday – Sunday, between 6.30am – 6.30pm

What you'll be doing

• Required to be flexible according to business requirements.  The daily focus may vary however, it is expected that activities will typically include the following:
• Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, back of house areas, crockery and cutlery 
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation and public areas
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
•  
• Operating tills and handling cash
• Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
   

Experience

• Food hygiene and Health and Safety level 2 or willing to obtain via our e learning system
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Basic numeracy skills
• Transport required due to the site being remote with limited public transport 
• DBS check required
