We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Officers’ Mess, Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Thirsk, YO7 3EY

• £11.44 per hour
• Part time – 15 hours a week – Monday – Friday
• Shift times 5pm – 10pm

What you'll be doing

• Serving customers,, clearing and resetting tables, washing up as appropriate.
• Operating a bar service and handling cash (Must be 18+ years)
• Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, back of house areas, crockery and cutlery 
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation and public areas
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
   

Experience

• DBS to be completed
• Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Transport required due to the remote location of the site 
• Flexible - Shift patterns may vary to fit the business
• Must already have or be willing to obtain their Food Hygiene Level 1 via our online e-learning centre.
