We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning / Retail Manager to be a part of our integral team at Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Thirsk, YO7 3EY

What you'll be doing

• Manage two small teams across Site Cleaning and the Retail (Shop/Costa). 
• Managing day to day operations, such as; accepting invoices, stock taking, payroll adjustments, rosters etc. 
• Control Retail, Costa and Cleaning procedures, including the ordering and maintenance of food and cellar stock, security of stock, keys and cash, the dispatch and the maintenance of cleaning material stocks and re-ordering within budget. 
• Performing Quality Audits across the site to ensure the cleaning levels are being adhered to. 
• Hold weekly meetings with your team. 
• Ensure all procedures are being followed and employee personnel files are maintained in adherence to company guidelines.
• Efficiently report any deficiencies or issues with equipment
• Check equipment is safe and working
   

Experience

• DBS Check required for Security Clearance 
• Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 (desirable although relevant training will be provided). 
• Experience in a similar role desirable. 
• Basic numeracy skills
• Must be able to work in all areas of the business if required (including kitchen and bar duties
• Transport required (remote area with limited public transport)
• Retail and Cleaning knowledge/understanding desirable
