Title:  General Operative

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled General Operative (GO) for a busy site in Swords. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple trades and be comfortable supporting day-to-day site operations, maintenance tasks, and small project works.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair works across the site
• Support minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical tasks
• Assist with reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Manage and close out maintenance tickets via the site helpdesk system
• Prioritise and respond to service requests within agreed SLAs
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects
• Support contractors on-site where required
• Maintain high health & safety standards at all times
• Ensure work areas are clean and compliant

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled or general operative role
• Experience managing tickets through a CAFM/helpdesk system
• Strong knowledge of basic building maintenance
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Safe Pass (required)
• Manual Handling (required)
