Pay: £31,900/per annum

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday 07:00-15:30. No Weekends.

 

We’re looking for a Head Chef to join our team to help create a welcoming space for our customers. As Head Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, always ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will lead and support a small team, including a Commis Chef and Kitchen Porter, while preparing high-quality meals in line with Opex standards.

What you’ll do:

The Head Chef has full responsibility for managing the Kitchen Operations, including:

  • Full management of the kitchen operations with supported use of the company’s Menu Planning and Stock Management – OpX;
  • Budget planning to ensure KPI’s for revenue and GP are met;
  • planning seasonal Menu Cycles;
  • projection of production requirements;
  • weekly ordering;
  • Managing waste levels within stated targets;
  • Management of all deliveries including temperature checks;
  • Management of all Opening and Closing Checks;
  • Supporting the Manager Roles administrative functions when required including absences required.

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering
  • Level 3 Food Safety
  • Allergen Management trained
  • COSHH trained
  • 3 years’ experience at Head Chef level
  • IT literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
