Are you ready to take your Food & Beverage career to the next level at one of the UK's most exciting attractions? Alton Towers Resort is looking for a passionate and driven Restaurant Manager to join our high-energy Food & Beverage team, leading operations at our exciting Rollercoaster Restaurant.

 

This is a key leadership role where you will oversee both Front of House and Kitchen Operations, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and high- quality dining experience for our guests.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

As Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading Front of House and Kitchen Operations to deliver a seamless, efficient, and high-quality guest experience
  • Coaching and providing consistent feedback to the Kitchen Manager and Front of House Assistant Managers to achieve operational excellence and uphold company standards
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
  • Managing staff performance, including recruitment, training, performance management, and conducting team appraisals
  • Driving commercial profitability by controlllng cost of goods, optimising labour deployment, and actively reducing waste
  • Ensuring restaurant KPI's for food service, food quality, and value for money are consistently achieved
  • Planning and managing tactical operating hours and staffing levels, particularly during off-peak periods, to maximise efficiency and overall profit

Essential Criteria

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Extensive restaurant experience with a strong understanding of food safety standards
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and current food safety legislation
  • Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The abilty to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
