Title: Kitchen Team Leader

Alton Towers Resort are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Team Leader with a love of food to join our talented team!
This is a food preparation and supervisory role based in Alton Towers iconic Rollercoaster Restaurant. You will be supervising the kitchen operation to ensure exceptional food standards are delivered.
You will be working on a seasonal variable contract until November 2025, with an hourly rate of £13.75.
Working hours can vary to suit the theme park opening hours so flexiblilty is required.
Responsibilities:
- Leading your team to prepare and serve a wide variety of food following recipes and guidelines to create fabulous dishes
- Inspiring and mentoring your team to reach their full potential
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, adhering with health and safety standards
- Preparing the kitchen area prior to service
- Ordering, monitoring stock leavels and managing deliveries
- Leading team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation during busy periods
- Dealing with allergy queries and ensuring compliance

The Ideal Candidate:
- We would love to hear from candidates with kitchen experience who have a passion for food
- Supervisory experience is preferable
- Due to the nature of this role you must be over 18 years old
- Excellent communication with a friendly and approachable demenaour. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring fantastic food presentation
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, inlcuding weekends and public holidays
