Passionate about food and looking for a role that's more exciting than the average kitchen job? Join our team as a Kitchen Host at Alton Towers Resort, where you'll help prepare and serve food to thousands of guests as part of one of the UK's most iconic visitor attractions.
Whether you're gaining your first kitchen experience or looking to develop your hospitality skills, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
This is a food preparation and guest-facing role where you'll be working in a busy and rewarding environment. We have breakfast and evening shifts available throughout the week.
This is a seasonal role with a competitive hourly rate of £13.05 and is available until November 2026.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving a wide variety of food following recipes and guidelines
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Preparing the kitchen area before service to ensure we are ready for busy periods
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, restocking and supporting deliveries as required
- Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation during busy periods
- Washing and cleaning crockery and equipment to ensure high standards are maintained

Here are some desirable qualities for this role...
- Previous kitchen experience would be beneficial; however, we will provide full training for candidates with a genuine passion for food
- Excellent communication and a friendly, approachable demeanour
- The ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food standards
- A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
