Are you currently working in hospitality but looking for a little more fun in your role? Do you like the idea of working in a theme park environment? Well, we have a fabulous opportunity to work within our Kitchen operations at Alton Towers. We have Kitchen Host and Kitchen Porter roles available where you would be based in one of our kitchens working alongside our chefs to ensure exceptional food and cleanliness standards and are delivered.

These are kitchen roles where you may also be guest facing and working in a busy environment. We have breakfast, lunch and evenings shifts available across the week.

This is a seasonal role available until November 2026

The ingredients for success:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of food following recipes and guidelines
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards 
• Preparing the kitchen area prior to service ensuring we are ready for a busy service
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, restocking and supporting with deliveries as required 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth kitchen operation during busy periods
• Washing and cleaning crockery and equipment to ensure high standards are met

Requirements 

• We would love to hear from candidates with kitchen experience. However we  will also provide suitable candidates who have a passion for food with all the training they require
• Excellent communication with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring fantastic food presentation 
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
