Title:  Breakfast Cook

Are you an early riser with a passion for great food and delivering memorable guest experiences? We're looking for a Breakfast Cook to join our hotel team at Alton Towers Resort, helping to create the perfect start to the day for guests staying at the UK's most iconic theme park destination.

Whether you've worked as a Cook, Chef, Catering Assistant, or in another food preparation role, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and exciting hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Breakfast Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality breakfast service across our hotel operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and presenting a delicious hot and cold breakfast buffet
• Supporting the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction
• Maintaining effective stock control and minimising waste
• Ensuring kitchens remain organised, clean, and fully compliant at all times
• Operating and maintaining kitchen equioment safely and responsibly
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of allergens and communicating confidently with guests when required

Role Details

• Position: Breakfast Cook
• Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Shift Times:  Starting from 6.00am
• Hourly Rate: £14.15 per hour
• Please note: Public transport is not available at these times, so your own transport will be required

What we're looking for

• Enjoys preparing quality food and takes pride in delivering a great guest experience
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and enjoys working as part of a team
• Can work independently and confidently manage a breakfast service
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work
• Pride in cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable, but full training will be provided)
