Salary: £12.60
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Ranging between 7am & 5pm

Our focus is on delivering professional, efficient, and welcoming hospitality to clients, guests, and colleagues across meeting rooms, executive suites, and corporate areas.

We are looking for a Hospitality Food Service Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hygiene in all aspects of the role.

 

Role Overview

As a Hospitality Food Service Assistant, you will support the delivery of hospitality and meeting room services across the site. You’ll ensure all food and beverage orders are prepared, presented, and delivered to an excellent standard, providing a seamless and professional experience for all clients and guests.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, serve, and clear down hospitality orders including breakfasts, lunches, beverages, and refreshments for meetings and events.
  • Ensure food and drink are presented attractively and consistently, following company and client standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all service areas, meeting rooms, and kitchenettes.
  • Prepare and restock beverages, snacks, and service items as required throughout the day.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Adhere to Food Safety, Health & Safety, and site security procedures at all times.
  • Support the wider catering team when required to ensure smooth daily operations.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, food service, or corporate catering role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and manner, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders.
  • Knowledge of basic food hygiene and service standards.
  • Positive, team-focused attitude with a flexible approach to work.

 

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Allergen awareness training (desirable).
  • Full security clearance will be required for access to the MBDA site (support provided).
