A day in the life of a Chef de Partie:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes for the staff dining service
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
  • Support Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily operations including stock rotation and waste control
  • Ensure food is produced in line with company specifications and dietary requirements
  • Contribute ideas for improving menus, service efficiency, and sustainability

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a staff restaurant or contract catering
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification (Level 3 desirable)
  • Allergen and HACCP training preferred
  • Strong culinary and organisational skills
  • A calm, proactive, and team-oriented approach
