At present, we are only accepting applications from those candidates who reside in the Netherlands or mainland Europe.
We are currently recruiting a Chef Manager to join our talented offshore team in the Netherlands.
This is an offshore position where you would work a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation. It concerns activities aimed at catering, cleaning, laundry, etc.
You will need to hold the required offshore certification and the right to work in the Netherlands.
Function Purpose
Managing the daily activities with regards to catering, cleaning and laundry, so that the agreed service level is met.

Job Description
Preparation
- Planning of work, taking into account the number of guests, deviating matters, etc.
- Adjusting personnel planning in response to unforseen situations
- Checking stock situations and taking corrective action if necessary
Control
- Dividing work and discussing specifics with catering team
- Supervising the execution of work in a qualitative and quantitative sense
- Responding to unexpected situations , solving daily problems
- Registering hours worked, materials used, etc., reporting details
Staff
- Coaching and motivating employees
- Training of new employees
- Conducting performance appraisals
- Follow-up of absenteeism due to illness
Execution
- Solving operational probles - i.e. with regards to faulty equipment or other calamities
- Co-performing activities related to the preparation of meals or other activities within the team
Functioning Responsibly
- Supervise compliance with laws and regulations in the field of quality, food safety, health and safety and the environment
- Providing input to supervisors regarding the drafting or modification of procedures and regulations
