Location: Weeton Barracks, Preston PR4 3JQ 
Hours: Permanent, Part-Time, 30 hrs/week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends) 
Shift times: Range between 06:45 and 21:00 
Pay: £12.71/ hour

We are recruiting a Mess Steward to join our team working at Weeton Barracks PR4 3JQ. 

  
You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of quality laundry, accommodation, mess-room, and janitorial services, always adhering to health and safety standards.

What you’ll do:

• Serving food and/or beverages to customers. 
• Cash handling and till operation. 
• Occasional bar work. 
• General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, pot wash, and dishwashing. 
• Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method. 
• Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift. 
• Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company. 

What we’re looking for:

• UK resident for the past 3 years  
• Legal right to work in the UK  
• Able to pass security vetting and DBS checks  
• Previous experience is great, but not essential – full training provided!
