What you’ll be doing
- You will be managing a team of Chefs across the kitchens on site. You will be responsible for all Chefs/Back of house team members.
- Team rotas, processing payroll and staff training
- Placing orders and managing stock and wastage
- Preparing menus for functions and other special events
- Using Aramark systems (OPX, Aratrade, Myworklife etc)
- Overseeing production throughout
- Completing your daily checks and paperwork efficiently
- Ensure all recipes / specs are followed
- You will support the culinary team in the delivery of great food
- Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
- Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
- Ensure all staff training is up to date and daily duties are delegated.
Qualifications:
- A DBS check will be required to complete your application
- Previous management experience (at least 3 years) and cheffing experience essential (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
- Previous experience managing a kitchen and large team.
- Be a confident chef and leader
- Experience in our systems is desirable however training will be given to the successful candidate
