What you’ll be doing

  • You will be managing a team of Chefs across the kitchens on site. You will be responsible for all Chefs/Back of house team members.
  • Team rotas, processing payroll and staff training
  • Placing orders and managing stock and wastage
  • Preparing menus for functions and other special events
  • Using Aramark systems (OPX, Aratrade, Myworklife etc)
  • Overseeing production throughout
  • Completing your daily checks and paperwork efficiently
  • Ensure all recipes / specs are followed
  • You will support the culinary team in the delivery of great food
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
  • Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
  • Ensure all staff training is up to date and daily duties are delegated.


Qualifications:

  • A DBS check will be required to complete your application
  • Previous management experience (at least 3 years) and cheffing experience essential (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience managing a kitchen and large team.
  • Be a confident chef and leader
  • Experience in our systems is desirable however training will be given to the successful candidate
