Contract Type: Permanent - Full time - 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: 5 over 7, including some weekends
Hourly Rate: £13.00

 

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Estate Grounds Cleaner to join our team at the prestigious RNLI College in Poole. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of the college grounds — making sure every visitor, guest, and staff member experiences a well-kept, welcoming environment.

Whether you're clearing litter, caring for flowerbeds, or pressure-washing pathways, your attention to detail will help reflect the high standards of this important site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Clear rubbish, weeds, and debris from outdoor areas
  • Maintain entrances and low-level signage cleanliness
  • Water plants and flowers across the grounds
  • Weed, trim, and mulch plants using gardening tools
  • Remove litter daily and ensure clean, usable grounds
  • Pressure-wash pavements and driveways as needed
  • Care for tools, supplies, and gardening equipment
  • Support occasional landscaping or planting projects
