Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Commis Chef to join the fantastic team at RNLI College, Poole BH15 1HZ
This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting to the Catering Manager on site. The role will assume responsibility for all food production across breakfast and lunch service from one main kitchen and support with planned ad hoc hospitality throughout the year.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

This is a full-time temporary position for 6 months with the opportunity of a full time contract after the inital 6 months. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 including weekends on a weekly rota.
The hourly rate is £12.90.

A day in the life of a Commis Chef:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a professional kitchen while contributing to high-quality food service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety regulations.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure stock levels are maintained and ingredients are stored correctly.
Work efficiently within a team to deliver excellent service.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including COSHH regulations.
Adapt to a weekly rota, including weekend and evening shifts.
You will be set up for success if you have:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Basic food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
