General Service Assistant (Part-Time, Maternity Cover)

£12.21 per hour – Part-time – Maternity Cover until Nov 2025 with potential extension.
Job Summary
Aramark UK is hiring a General Service Assistant to join our Defence sector team at Glencorse Barracks. This is a part-time maternity cover role until November 2025, with the possibility of extension. You’ll be working 24 hours per week across 4 days, including occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate tills and handle cash/card payments
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and serving areas
- Support both front and back-of-house operations
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Report to the on-site Catering Manager
Requirements
- Previous food service or customer-facing experience is desirable (training provided)
- Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK
- Must have lived in the UK for 3+ years (security clearance required)
- Reliable transport is essential due to limited public transport access
