Aramark UK are currently recruiting a General Service Assistant/Driver to join our team working at Albemarle Barracks, NE15 0RF.

You will be responsible for food related services including cleaning, food prep, customer service and cash handling. You will also drive the company vehicle ensuring the safe delivery of staff to and from the workplace. You will be working to a high standard, ensuring all tasks are completed in good time and all equipment is stored safely.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• This is a Zero hours position, predominantly working Monday – Friday, early shift and late shift.
• The hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a GSA/Driver:

• You will ensure that site vehicle is clean and roadworthy
• Pick staff up at designated points
• Work in the catering department – washing all cooking utensils, clean all areas throughout kitchen and dining areas, basic food preparation, customer service at till points
• Work as part of a team abiding by all food safety and Health & Safety regulations are followed

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided on site.
