Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our busy team here at Uppingham School, Rutland, LE15 9QE 
You will be working as part of an energetic team providing excellent customer service as standard. You will be required to perform basic food preparation as well as general cleaning duties both front and back of house.

• This is a part-time position of 22.5 hours per week, term time only. The weekday shifts cover the afternoon service between 13:00 till 17:30.
• The hourly rate is £12.21
• A minimum of 1 Saturday per month is required on a scheduled basis.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

• Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving students and operating the till, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service. 

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
• Driving license is desirable but not necessary
