Head Chef - Lead the Culinary Team at RAF Leeming
Location: RAF Leeming, Northallerton, DL7 9NJ
Salary: £30,000.26
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days out of 7 (includes some weekends)
Shift times: Structured shifts between 06:30 and 20:00, leaving your evenings free!

What you’ll do:
- Oversea the preparation and cooking of all meals with minimal wastage.
- Deliver fine dining for functions and hospitality event.
- Support and coach new team members on kitchen standards and procedures.
- Follow recipe cards and maintain food quality.
- Complete stock checks, food orders, and kitchen records to remain compliant.
- Monitor temperatures and complete due diligence paperwork.
- Help with daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant culinary qualification (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent).
- Level 3 Food Safety or above.
- A confident chef and excellent team player.
- Flexibility and ability to innovate.
- UK residency for the past 3 years (required for security vetting).
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS and full security clearance.
