Shift times: Sat & Sun 08:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 - 18.30, Mon & Tues11:00 - 18.30, Fri 10:30 - 18.30
Salary: £25,000 per annum

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef in their Education sector to join our team.

You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food, deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer service to our customers, and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

What you’ll do:

• You will be preparing both hot and cold food, alongside deli grab & go items (sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fruit pots)
• You will be serving on the hot counter at breakfast and lunchtime, keeping track of any dishes running low and always conducting Food Safety.
• Placing orders and performing stock takes, alongside assisting with storing deliveries and deep cleans of the unit on a daily/weekly basis.
• You will be operating tills and taking payments, whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will also be upselling sizes and products.
• Organising and coordinating hospitality
• You will also be required to work on a scheduled Saturday for school sports day, serving light refreshments.

What we’re looking for:

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Relevant cookery/culinary qualification
• Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial
• Knowledge of financial processing and understanding P&L and stocktaking.
