Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef to join our team working at Newcastle Cobalt 9c, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE27 0QQ.
You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.

⦁ This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Shifts range between 7.30am - 3.30pm, leaving your evenings and weekends free - a rarity when you work within culinary.
⦁ The hourly rate is £12.43 per hour.

A day in the life of a Chef:
⦁ Reporting to the Chef Manager, working with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.
⦁ Preparing food for our hospitality dining facilities and events.
⦁ Assisting the Chef Manager with day to day kitchen operations, including cafe and hospitality food service and production. You will also be ensuring all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.
⦁ Learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
⦁ Undertaking relevant training as required.
You will be set up for success if you have:
⦁ Relevant culinary qualification is desirable, however we will also consider experience!
⦁ Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
⦁ Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
⦁ Excellent team player and communicator.
