Aramark UK are currently recruiting an experienced Chef Manager to join our team working at Kerry Ingredients, Menstrie, FK11 7ES
You will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the unit, preparing meals, delegating tasks to your team and leading your team to success.

⦁ This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 3.30pm, leaving your weekends and evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary/hospitality.
⦁ We are offering a salary of between £28,500 - £30,000 dependent on experience

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
⦁ Ensure compliance with Aramark UK’s Food Hygiene & Safety requirements
⦁ Hot and cold food production for the deli grab & go and hot counter food service for both breakfast and lunchtime, using standard recipes and in line with Aramark brand standards
⦁ Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products
⦁ Placing orders and stock rotation, carrying out regular stock takes and completing the relevant back office paperwork.
⦁ Ensure all financial daily paper / digital work is completed correctly and on time
⦁ Handle customer complaints as required
⦁ Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met
You will be set up for success if you have:
⦁ Relevant culinary/cookery qualification and previous on the job experience – ideally in a contract catering environment.
⦁ Knowledge of financial processing and an understanding of P&L and stocktaking.
