Aramark UK are currently looking for a Coffee Shop Supervisor to join our team working with our prestigious corporate client, who have six sites spanning across London, Bournemouth, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Luxemburg. Our client, a global financial institution with roots tracing back to 1799, is built on a core principle of delivering exceptional client service - and that’s exactly what we expect from you!
In addition, you’ll play a key role in the exciting reopening of our newly refurbished site. You will help ensure the transition into the brand new space is seamless, operationally strong, and reflective of the exceptional service culture we are committed to delivering.
The role is subject to client vetting.

A day in the life of a Barista:
- Lead and support the team during daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee drink and food preparation, maintaining high quality and consistency.
- Deliver excellent customer service, handling queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Train, coach, and motivate staff, ensuring all team members follow company standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure all products and supplies are fully replenished.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the shop, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support with scheduling and shift planning, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including security checks and equipment setup/shutdown.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently met, from product presentation to customer experience.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service abilities and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Experience in a coffee shop or hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Good communication skills, both with customers and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail, particularly in drink quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene is an advantage).
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.
