Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team at GOGGS (SW1A 2HQ).
You will be responsible for organising and directing the team in the delivery of all food services to the client. the day-to-day running of the shifts when the Head Chef is not present. You will be well organised and be able to work well under pressure.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 5 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

A day in the life of a Junior Sous Chef:
- You will be running shifts and guiding your team when the Head Chef is not present, ensuring the efficient delivery of all food services – so organisation and the ability to thrive under pressure is required!
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet high standards of taste and quality
- You will be producing food in line with recipe sheets, and have full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergen information
- Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage. You will also be placing orders and keeping records of any stock wastage, alongside receiving deliveries, and ensuring they are stored correctly, and the FIFO method is followed
- Carrying out deep cleans daily / weekly alongside your team, ensuring all staff are fully trained on their sections and have undertaken any relevant training as required
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Relevant culinary qualifications and at least 2 years on the job experience as a Junior Sous Chef or CDP
