Aramark UK is seeking a General Manager to oversee our operations at one of our central London sites. This role, sitting within our Education division, offers an exciting opportunity to drive both operational efficiency and financial success.

 

The position is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments for hospitality events.

A day in the life of a General Manager:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, attend meetings and encourage teamwork to improve service
  • Guide your team with clear direction, help them grow and create a positive workplace
  • Manage daily operations, maintain high standards and improve efficiency
  • Plan and run hospitality services for events, making them enjoyable and memorable
  • Handle finances wisely, control spending, meet food and labour goals
  • Follow health and safety rules to ensure a clean and secure environment

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Worked as a General Manager in an education setting or high-quality catering environments
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3
  • Experience leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • A passion to provide outstanding customer service
  • Fresh ideas to inspire your team and improve the experience
  • A personal alcohol licence (preferable)
